Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat – March 29, 1987

This match was characterized by the extreme attention to detail on behalf of Randy Savage, which led to extremely elaborate choreographies and some great moments, including some great near misses and 19 two-counts. And because of its near perfect technical execution, this match is often regarded as the best of all time.

  2. Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant -- March 29, 1987

Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant -- March 29, 1987

This is still regarded as one of the best WWE in history according to the more than 90,000 fans that saw it live at the Pontiac Silverdome. The outcome might have been obvious, with Hogan being the United States hero and Andre being the French "bad guy", but everyone still wanted to see how Hogan managed to defeat a rival of such tremendous size. And so, after being brutalized and almost defeated a couple of times, Hogan managed to defeat Andre with a leg drop.

  3. Mankind vs. Undertaker -- June 28, 1998

    Mankind vs. Undertaker -- June 28, 1998

Definitely one most remembered matches in history and most surely the most famous Hell in a Cell match ever. In it Mankind manages to defeat the then more popular (and favorite) Undertaker in a match that was so intense and tough that both participants still don't fully recall several parts of it.

  4. Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels -- March 31, 1996

Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels -- March 31, 1996

Acknowledged as one of the longest matches in WWE history with a duration of over an hour, this match went without a score until the very last minute. Then, after it was finished, it was sent to sudden-death overtime, where both rivals, despite being exhausted, continued to fight until Michaels won with his trademark Sweet Chin Music kick.

  5. Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels -- March 20, 1994

Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels -- March 20, 1994

Another great match for Michaels, but one that he couldn't win. Before this match even began, the tension between both fighters was tremendous and Ramon managed to be the winner in what was called by many, the "Match of the Year" by Pro Wrestling Illustrated

  6. Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker -- Oct. 5, 1997

Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker -- Oct. 5, 1997

And yet another match (and another win) for Michaels, one of the WWE favorites. This match (which was again another Hell in a Cell) had a lot of fiction going on in the preceding days, with many saying that the Undertaker had murdered all his family except for his brother when he was a child. Of course, his long-lost brother, Kane, appeared in the match and took revenge on his older brother, which helped Michaels win.

  7. Triple H vs. Undertaker -- April 1, 2001

    Triple H vs. Undertaker -- April 1, 2001

Another great appearance of the then fearsome undertaker, who remained undefeated after this match. The match was so violent that even the referee was attacked.

  8. Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin -- March 23, 1997

Bret Hart vs. Stone Cold Steve Austin -- March 23, 1997

One of the many aspects that made this match unforgettable was that it was a No Disqualification Submission Match where anything went, which means that almost everything was valid regardless of how violent it was. Just to give you an idea of how crazy this match was, the fighters used everything to fight, from a steel chair, a timekeeper’s table and even a television cable.

  9. The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz -- April 1, 2001

The Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. The Dudley Boyz -- April 1, 2001

While this is the only tag-team match to make it into this list, that doesn't mean that it was not good. Quite the opposite in fact, this was the best tag-team match ever in the history of the WWE by far. In it, Christian and Edge won the Tag Team Championship in a real mess of Tables, Ladders and Chairs where almost anything was valid.

  10. Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart -- March 20, 1994

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart -- March 20, 1994

Maybe the most famous family feud in the history of the WWE, where Bret and Owen Hart really gave it all in a full-action match.
