States That May Be You Probably Never Heard About..
Maybe you all know never even heard about the countries below you might even think that this country was really there.
1. Nagorno Karabakh Republic,
Nagorno Karabakh is an independent republic situated between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Nagorno Karabakh is one of the areas most miners, from the former Soviet Union since 1991-1994 Nagorno Karabakh War. They are still not recognized by the state, including Armenia. 95% of the population is Armenian, and the rest are Greeks and Kurds. tourism they are basically directed to Armenians living in Western countries.
2. Pitcairn Islands,
Pitcairn Islands, officially named the Pitcairn, Henderson, Ducie and Oeno Islands, squeezed out of four volcanic islands that were previously a British colony, the last
remaining in the Pacific. Language of the
population is a mixture of English and Tahitian. In recent years the church has been closed since only 8 people who visit regularly. There is only one Café and Bar on the island, and the Government stores selling alcohol and cigarettes. There is a strict moral laws that
prohibited dancing, smoking and drinking alcohol.
3. Cook Islands,
Cook Islands, has a self governing parliamentary democracy. With more
than 90,000 tourists per year, tourism is their economic field, far ahead of off shore banking, marine, pearls and fruit exports. Cook Island was named by the British navigator Captain James Cook when he reached the islands in 1773.
4. Tokelau,
Tokelau, is the region that have no self government. The name Tokelau is a
Polynesian word meaning "north wind". The
island has the smallest economy of any country in the world that makes them almost entirely dependent on subsidies from New Zealand. 96% of the population are Christian and 57% of whom are women.
5. Isle of Man,
Isle of Man, also known as Mann, is a self governing British Crown Dependency named, with locations in the Irish Sea between the island of Great Britain and Ireland. They are not part of the European Union. Isle of Man get the economy based on off shore banking and tourism. This island has been inhabited since before 6500 BC.
6. Guernsey,
Guernsey under the responsibility of the United Kingdom but they are not counted as part of the UK, as well as the European Union. Guernsey is situated in the English Channel on the Normandy coast. They have full autonomy over internal affairs, and they were discussing the total independence of the United Kingdom.
7. Comoros,
Comoros is the African island nation in the Indian Ocean between Mozambique
and Madagascar. This island is the old French
colony, and today there are about 300,000
Comorians living in France. 98% of the
population is Muslim.
8. Tuvalu,
Tuvalu is a constitutional monarchy with
Queen Elizabeth II as head of state. They have
no regular military forces, and spend money on defense. Tuvalu is the fourth smallest country in the world rankings. The first in habitants of this country are the Polynesian people.
9. Nauru,
A former colony of the German
Empire, also known as Pleasant Island of the
South Pacific. Nauru People collect rain water
during rainy season between November and
February because they are very limited fresh
water. The most popular sport in this country is Australian rules football, and they have a
football league with seven teams.
10. Vanuatu,
90% of house holds Vanuatu people to eat fish, and 80% live in rural, isolated
villages with their own garden and food
supplies. Scuba diving is a very popular tourist attraction here. Tsunami is not a rare thing in
Vanuatu, and earthquakes have a negative impact on the economy of the country.
